Dropz & Kuts Bio:

Dropz & Kuts are a talented, multi genre DJ/ drum and MC collective that have been bringing the smoothest in lounge, nu jazz, nu funk and jazzy, latin and funky grooves to Brisbane Australia for the past 4 years. In more recent times they have broken into Queensland’s burgeoning club scene with a trademark blend of clubbed up and party style funky house, breaks and hip hop.

Dropz & Kuts features Dastardly Kuts, who has been the dj of choice for such events as the Caxton St Seafood and Wine Festival, Icon Creative Summit and South banks New Years Eve Beach Party as well as after parties for events such as the Playboy Golf Tournament, Bit Festival and Geoffrey Rush’s movie “Swimming Up Stream”. Mr Dropz has been the beat supplier for such groups as the world renowned Deep Blue Orchestra, eight piece Marimba collective Jambezi, Brisbane jazz and funk heavyweights the Long Green Beans and gypsy dance band and Woodford Folk Festival favorites Doch. With MC Jester of Picnic in the Park, BIT and BAM festival fame completing the line up, the stage is set for some seriously funked up goodness.

This dynamic trio are currently the resident groove suppliers for South Banks Young Designers Expo and also feature regularly on internet radio station www.boost.fm with their show the Funkin’ Sunday Sessions and with a plethora of musical styles at there disposal, there really isn’t much these guys cant do. Whether it’s a relaxing Sunday afternoon session or a packed dance floor well after midnight there is one thing for sure, with Dropz & Kuts supplying the tunes you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Quick little edit of this awesome track to condense seven & a half minutes into a more quick & free flowing five and a bit. A few little chops, changed the breakdown, brought up the tempo and we’re ready for action.

Dekline & Red Polo vs Tag Team – It’s Like No Other Busta Booty (Dastardly Kuts Mash)

Triple threat mash of Dekline and Red Polo’s Booty Breaks versions of Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man” and Busta Rhymes “Touch It” with some extra “Whoomp” supplied by Tag Team.

This year the internationally renowned festival Creamfields will be hitting Australia’s shores for the first time. It is one of the pinnacle events this year with the likes of The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77, Steve Angello, MSTRKRFT, Ferry Corsten, LMFAO, Green Velvet, Dirty South, LifeLike, Riva Starr, Tommy Sunshine, Zoo Brazil and Bingo Players – there is something for everyone’s taste.

Birdee Num Num in association with Redbull are proud to announce a DJ competition giving the chance for 2 lucky aspiring DJs to be slingshot into a world of stardom and play alongside some of the biggest DJ names in the world.

The competition will kick off at 1pm with entrants playing 45 minute sets. Two lucky competitors will be chosen on music style, talent and energy alone to play in the Red Bull Tent at this years Creamfields Festival. Each of the winners will receive a full Artist Pass for the DJ along with a VIP Pass for a friend. The winners will be announced on the day!!!

For all of the Non-DJs attending we will also be giving away 10 Creamfields tickets on the day!!!
